The economy of the mountainous area of Guangdong has developed by exploiting local resources.With resources being exploited increasingly,more and more problems appear: such as resources being dried up and wasted badly,the environment tending to be deteriorating,the enterprises being declined and economic stagnation,etc.The economy of Guangdong is facing the transformation at the present time.The developing level between the mountainous area and the developed area will become larger if the mountainous area can't adjust to the transformation.The study emphasizes on the urgency of economy transformation in the mountainous area,strategy of economy transformation and its developmental model restructures in Guangdong.
