Mining City Development and Ecological Environment Protection
本文介绍中国426个矿业城市因矿产开采导致的生态破坏问题，从经济角度分析原因，并提出调整产业结构、加强生态治理等建议。
The mining city is the one that has been built and developed depending on the exploitation of mineral resources. According to statistics of China Mining Association (2004),there are 426 mining cities in China and they have a population of about 310 million,so their sustainable development is very important. This paper briefly introduces mining city ecological environment destruction caused by mining exploitation,potential hazard and the urgency of ecological restoration. According to the analysis of the causes of ecological deterioration in the mining city from economic view,it is because that the economic development depends mainly on mining industry and its related industry,the ecological environment is difficult to change,the functions of city and enterprise are ambiguous,and the policy and management still have defects. Based on those problems,corresponding suggestions are put forwarded as follows: increase industrial structure adjustment strength of mining city,strengthen the ecological environmental protection and treatment,define mining city and enterprise functions in the ecological environmental protection and treatment,implement ecological compensation of mineral resources exploitation.
