ANALYSIS ON BENEFIT EVALUATION AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF ECOLOGICAL FORESTRY IN PLAIN AREAS CHINA: TAKING DONGTING LAKE REGION AS AN EXAMPLE

Since 21 century,our human beings are suffering unprecedented threats from the effects of global warming which is caused by increased quantities of greenhouse gases in oureconomic activities,from which more and more countries gradually realize that low carbon economy is proved to be the most effective way to rise up to such challenge.Compared with higher cost in reductions of carbon emissions in industry,reductions of carbon emissions in forestry is in even lower cost and prove dramatically more sustainable.Thus,as the rapid growth in industry,forestry is going to be the most proper,cost-effective and direct way to combat the negative influences of global warming.Taking Dongting Lake region as an example,this paper presents a brief history of the construction of ecological forestry in plain region,evaluates the comprehensive benefit of it,and discusses some demanding solutions on developing the construction of ecological forestry in plain region,at the same time also contributes effectively to the growth of low carbon economy.
