Urban Agglomerations Competitiveness Model and Evaluation System——An Empirical Analysis of the Central Urban Agglomerations of Competitiveness

A very important purpose of developing the urban agglomeration is to enhance the competitiveness of it,and then achieve the maximum value of the urban agglomeration.However,there is still no consensus definition of the urban agglomerations competitiveness.In this paper,it is defined as a total power,through it,the maximize value of the urban agglomeration can be achived,in the process of the competition and development,by gaining a competitive advantage through junction and interaction among the constituent elements.On the base of the establishment of the urban agglomeration competitiveness model and the index system,the paper carry out an empirical analysis to the central urban agglomerations.
