THE TYPES OF RESOURCES,THE CHARACTERISTICS AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE WORLD GEOPARKS IN CHINA
介绍了中国85个国家地质公园中12个世界地质公园的资源类型、特征与发展，并基于国外经验提出建设建议。
It has become a common way in the world to set up national parks to protect the important and unique geological heritages.By now,a total of 85 national geoparks has been formally set up in China.Among them,12 top national geoparks have been approved as the members of global network of geoparks(Global Geopark) by UNESCO from 2004 to 2005.This paper first introduces the concepts of geological remains,geopark and world geopark,then states the types of resource,the characteristics and development of the world geoparks.Based on the foreign experience,this paper puts forward also advice on geopark′s development and construction in China.
