THE CHANGING PATTERN OF ENERGY SUPPLY-DEMAND IN CHINA SINCE REFORM AND OPENING
分析了改革开放以来中国能源生产和消费快速增长、结构升级的格局,指出东部成为国内外能源输入终点,中西部供应增加,尤其是西部地区。
An expanding energy supply system, as a result of the uneven distributions of resources in one hand and demands in the other, is a prevailing trend for nations and regions on the way of modernization. This paper is aimed at the changing pattern of energy supply-demand in China since reform and opening. The production and consumption of energy in China has been increasing quickly and the energy supply space has enlarged a lot. This is resulted from the rise of the energy consumption, as well as the upgrade of its structure. Oil and natural gas have played a more important role in the process. Owing to the resource endowment and economic development, East China has become the terminus of energy movement from both domestic and abroad. At the same time, the central China and the western China have supplied much more than before, especially the western area.
