Impacts of Urbanization on Resource Consumption and Emissions
利用1985-2009年五个省份的面板数据和STIRPAT模型，研究发现城市化与资源消耗、排放总体正相关，但不同发展水平下关系可能为负。
By selecting Heilongjiang,Shanghai,Henan,Guangdong and Gansu provinces as a sample,this paper,using the balanced panel data over the period 1985-2009 and STIRPAT model,studies impacts of urbanization on resource consumption and emissions under different levels of development.The main conclusions show that population size,per capita income and economic structure are the important factors to affect environment.Overall,the relationship between urbanization,resource consumption and emissions is positive,but from the different developing levels of 5 provinces,negative relationship appears,which means that environmental impacts during the urbanization process varies with the levels of development.
