COMBINATIONAL CLUSTERING BASED PRINCIPAL FUNCTION REGIONALIZATION OF HUNAN PROVINCE
结合K均值聚类和层次聚类方法，基于主体功能区划指标体系对湖南省14个地级市进行聚类，为政府决策提供功能区划方案。
Principal function regionalization is significant for promoting the healthy development of social economy,particularly for positioning and adjusting regional functions,and the harmony of human beings,economies and environment.This paper presents a combined method of K-means clustering and hierarchical clustering based on an index system of principal function regionalization,conducts the clustering with the real-world data on fourteen municipal regions of Hunan Province.We work out a set of alternatives of principal function regions based on the clustering result as the reference to support the decision process of government.
