THE RESEARCH PARADIGM AND THEORETICAL SYSTEM OF EVOLUTIONARY ECONOMIC GEOGRAPHY:A REVIEW OF PAPERS
综述了1990年代兴起的演化经济地理学，该学科以企业异质性、选择和遗传为核心，从动态视角解释企业、产业、城市或区域的空间差异与演化，并总结了在集群、外部性和制度作用三个领域的实证进展。
Evolutionary Economic Geography(EEG)that emerged in the 1990s,accepted the core theories of evolutionary economics such as firm heterogeneity,selection and heredity,thinks the firm as the basic unit in economic changes,in which the motivation comes after the innovation.It evolves in terms of spatial factors and the retention of organizational routines by the dynamic evolutionary path,and has developed a new theoretical framework that the growth of regional economy originates from the innovations of new products or new routines in old firm and spin-off firm,or old cities and new cities in which the innovations depend on the variety within the firms and cities,and still thinks the scales of firm and city as the process of evolutionary growth.Incremental innovation and radical innovation emerged those different stages in their life-cycle,and its evolutionary spatial characters are also different.By taking an explicit dynamic perspective,and complementing the neoclassical and institutional modes of analysis,Evolutionary Economic Geography explains the spatial disparity and evolution of firms,industries,networks,cities or regions from elementary process of entry,growth,exit and relocation of firms.Empirical advances have been made in the three fields of clustering,the nature of externalities and the role of institutions in the regional development.
