SPATIAL AND TEMPORAL EVOLUTION OF REGIONAL URBANIZATION PATTERN IN ANHUI PROVINCE
利用ArcGIS和GeoDA软件，基于县级数据分析了1990-2008年安徽省城镇化水平的时空演变，发现区域差异经历下降-稳定-下降的过程，且城镇化呈现显著分异但未形成稳定高值集聚区。
Anhui province lies in the hinterland of Yangtze Delta where there is great economic development potential.With the help of ArcGIS 9.2 and GeoDA 9.5,the study is done on the base of country level and is measured by the urbanization rate indications of county level with the methods of statistic analysis and ESDA.Spatial-temporal evolution of regional urbanization pattern in Anhui province during 1990-2008 has been preliminarily probed into from three sides of time series,spatial series and spatial autocorrelation.The following conclusions are found: The first,regional differences of urbanization level in Anhui Province experiences a process of down-steady-down,in general.The second,the differences level of urbanization remains steady in north Anhui,trends to increase in the middle of Anhui,and trends to decrease in south Anhui.The third,the regional urbanization displays a significant divergence in Anhui province,although the core cities are under the significant process of polarization,but there is no stable high-value concentrated areas of urbanization be formed,population in county towns and most majority of small towns increase slowly,and there is a polarization potential of population concentrated in cities of different levels,the cities mainly distribute along with the Yangtze River and Hefei-Xuzhou expressway.
