On the Types of China's Provincial Urbanization Level and Speed and its Influencing Factors since 1990
根据1990年以来的城镇化水平和速度对中国各省进行分类，并分析经济水平、非农就业比例、外贸规模和人口教育水平对不同类型省份城镇化的影响。
This paper classified china's provincial urbanization type according to urbanization level and speed since 1990.Using provincial panel data from 1990 to 2005,the influencing factors for provincial urbanization and its disparities between different types are analyzed.The research indicate that the economic level and the percentage of employed persons engaged in non-agricultural industry have remarkable pushing effects on urbanization in all provinces; foreign trade scale has pushing effects on the provinces those with higher urbanization level;and population education level has pushing effects on urbanization in provinces with low urbanization level.
