CHALLENGE OF WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION AND LAND ADMINISTRATION COUNTERMEASURE IN HUNAN PROVINCE
研究中国加入WTO后湖南省土地管理面临的机遇与挑战，提出加强耕地保护、加速城市土地市场建设和完善土地法规等对策。
Land administration is faced with a series of reform and development chances and serious challenges along with China joining World Trade Organization (WTO) in December of 2001. Acceding to WTO, on the one hand, will significantly promote rational distribution of land resources, manifestation of land property, and reform of land administration system and mechnism, on the other hand, will produce great pressure on farmland use, land market development, and land system constructionin Hunan Province. In order to reply to challenges from WTO, the following measures should be taken in land administration of HunanProvince. Firstly, protection of cultivated land must be strengthened. secondly, construction of city land market has to accelerated. Finally, but not least important, law system of land administration should be improved.
