Studies on the Development Status of Industrial Park in Pearl River Delta (PRD) under the Background of State Land-contraction Policies

The central government carried out the rigorous land contraction to make the macro_economy development healthy since 2004, in which the industrial parks became the state_regulated emphasis. Under this background, the local government in PRD couldn't enlarge the local economy through the industrial parks with the model of “getting land from farmers with lower prices, selling to investors with higher prices. The traditional urbanization model wasn't sustainable considering the limited land resources. It's necessary to absorb the foreign direct investment (FDI) with little or none land use, build the “threshold for FDI entering into the industrial park, and the marketization of land use quota.
