CAPITAL INVESTMENT FROM THE RETURNEES OF MIGRANT LABORS AND ITS SPREAD EFFECT: CASES FROM GUSI COUNTY OF HENAN PROVINCE
基于对河南省人口和外出务工第一大县的访谈数据，研究了农民工返乡资本投资对农村发展的扩散效应，发现投资后扩散效应逐年扩大，且受外出经历、投资规模等因素影响。
Based on data from interviews with the firms’owners and other relevant people in the largest county in terms of population and outgoing labor in Henan Province,the paper examines capital invested by the returnees of migrant labors and its spread effect on rural development.The following conclusions are summarized:firstly,the individuals and the factors that are involved in the investment from the returnees are complicated,among them are shop’s owners,factory workers,technicians and managers,famers who lost their land,and government authorities. Secondly,great spread effect are indicated after the investment,particularly the effect are expanding in the years after the investment.Thirdly,the experience of out-workers,the amount and duration of investment,the level of localization,the sectors of industries,and the investment environment are the main factors that affect the spread effect.
