STUDY ON COST EFFICIENCY OF CROPS AND REGIONAL CHARACTERISTICS BASED ON DEA——TAKING SOYBEAN FOR EXAMPLE
使用DEA方法测量2004-2008年中国大豆成本效率，发现其偏低主要由配置效率导致，并指出不同产区成本效率差异显著，需调整资源配置和产区布局。
Cost efficiency of crops has an important influence on agricultural production.In this paper,we use DEA methods to measure soybean cost efficiency from 2004 to 2008,and make a concrete analysis in terms of pure technical efficiency,scale efficiency and allocative efficiency.Furthermore,the paper makes a contrast of regional characteristics among the major producing areas with coefficient of variation,and does a further analysis of the influence of pure technical efficiency,scale efficiency and allocative efficiency on cost efficiency.The results show that soybean cost efficiency is low and is caused by allocative efficiency.Therefore,we should adjust resource allocation to improve cost efficiency.Moreover,there is a considerable discrepancy between the different producing areas with respect of cost efficiency,hence we should readjust the production areas to take advantage of comparative advantages.
