Analysis of Economic Development Cost Difference among Reaches of West River based on Panel Datac
基于面板数据，用DEA和综合评价法分析西江流域不同河段单位产出的内外部成本，发现成本与地理梯度正相关，上游高于中游、中游高于下游，对区域协调发展政策有参考价值。
The selection of cost minimization is a basic rule of economic policy-making,it is the same as in the regional development layout.It requires comparative analysis on the development cost of different types of regions.The West River which stretches across the eastern,central and western regions of China and spans four southern provinces present a greater difference among geographic conditions,development cost and development performance,so it is the typical sample region on such analysis.The analysis of DEA and comprehensive evaluation,which is based on panel data,shows that the internal,external and comprehensive cost of per unit of output in different districts of the West River have a positive correlation with its geographical gradient.Namely,the river-basin development cost approximately shows a character of spatial difference and gradient that upper reaches is higher than middle reaches and middle reaches is higher than lower reaches.This difference may mean that it needs to survey the relation,strategy and policy of regional coordinated and balanced development again.
