ON KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY IN DIFFERENT REGIONS OF CHINA
构建了包含技术、教育、文化、产业等31项指标的知识经济评价体系，对中国31个省份进行量化分析，发现教育、技术和工业化是主要影响因素，且东南部地区水平较高。
The paper gives an index system about technology, education, culture, industry and general sectors and their 31 norms, which indicate development levels of knowledge economy in different regions of China. It's one result of the discussion of various norms at present that could measure this kind of special economic form. Then is systems analysis to its development extent and grade levels among 31 provinces and special districts in China, through mathematical modeling. Those analyses indicate that major factors affecting development of knowledge economy in China is education, technology and industrialization intensity. China is just in its initial phase to develop knowledge economy. The spatial difference of development extent is great, while that of grade levels is meager. Those three traditional cities belonging directly to China's Central Government and the areas in southeastern part have higher knowledge economic levels than other regions of China. This trend is very obvious. As to the development ranking of knowledge economy, the 31 provinces and cities can be classified into five grades.
