After the calculation and analysis of the industries and location quotient by means of the comparative advantage theory,it is concluded that the modern agriculture,tourism, non_ferrous metal,nonmetal and building materials,food industry,forest paper production,electric power and automobile and mechanic engineering are all leading industries in Guangxi Province. Those district industries and business,characteristic of Guangxi, need to be further developed so that they will consist of the five basic economy: specific agriculture, hydroelectric and mineral resources, automobile and mechanic manufacture, marine and tourism.
