On the Synchronization of Speeding up Transformation of Mode of Economic Development and Urban Growth Management
本文分析了中国城市化进程中城市扩张带来的问题，如耕地占用、交通拥堵和环境恶化，并从城市增长管理角度提出加快转变经济发展方式的建议。
In recent years,with the accelerated process of urbanization in China,many cities are not only faced with unprecedented opportunities for development,but also facing unprecedented challenges.With expanding,urban infrastructure,environment and living conditions are improved;At the same time,most of the cities in the expansion process are facing many serious problems:(1) a big blind climbing,duplication,a lot of farmland occupied,resulting in tension of land,housing,energy and other infrastructure;(2) urban planning process not keeping up with changes;(3) severe traffic congestion;(4) the continued deterioration environment in some urban.Therefore,our government takes speeding up transformation of economic development mode as the main line of development in the twelfth Five-Year Plan.Many cities are faced with dilemma between accelerating the transformation of economic development mode,sustainable development and scientific management.The paper proposes recommendations for urban development from the perspective of urban growth management.
