THE INSPIRATION OF GROWTH POLE THEORY TO REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF HEZE
从区域经济学角度分析菏泽经济特征与发展阶段，论证增长极理论适用于当前阶段，并提出培育增长极、配合政策杠杆以带动周边、实现菏泽经济起飞和山东省均衡发展的策略。
Heze belongs to the less developed regions in Shandong Province,and the problems concerned by government and scholars, are how to break through the puzzledom of Heze economic development. The Heze economic characteristics are analyzed in this paper from the viewpoint of regional economics, and the stages of Heze economic development are demonstrated simultaneously. Thus, the status that growth pole theory adapts to the present stage of Heze economic development is discussed, moreover the corresponding strategies and measures are proposed finally. Therefore, the best way to speed up Heze economic development rapidly at present stage is to bring up economic growth pole, which promotes economic development in the surrounding area, then policy levers are applied suitablely and reasonablely to overcome its own shortcomings of growth pole theory, achieving Heze economic take-off and balanced economic development of Shandong Province.
