STUDY ON CLASSIFICATION OF URBANIZATION TYPES OF SHANXI PROVINCE
通过主成分分析和聚类分析，将山西省11个地市的城市化水平分为4个等级和5种类型，并针对每种类型提出发展对策，为区域城市化战略决策提供依据。
The study on types of reginal urbanization,aiming at grasping urbanization characteristics and issues in different regions,is to raise development countermeasure of reginal urbanization,which provides scientific basis for urbanization strategic decision-making for shanxi province.On the basis of discussing the classifying principle and the target system of reginal urbanization types,this paper does a quantitative classification to 11 regions in the whole province by Principal Component Analysis Programme.According to eigenvalue calculation,Major Component 1 stand for synthetic level of urbanization which can be classfied into 4 grades,and also according to X-Y scatter cluster of Major Component 1 and Major Component 2,reginal urbanizatian typers are classified into 5 types,among which each is further analysed and puts forward some countermeasure.
