THE DEVELOPMENT AND CURRENT STATUS OF THE RURAL URBANIZATION OF YANTAI
分析了改革开放以来烟台农村城镇化的主要特征和问题，提出集聚型城镇化是推进其进一步发展的主要路径，需依托市区发展县城和中心镇，优化小城镇空间结构并注重城镇化质量。
The author analyzed the main characteristics and problems of the rural urbanization of Yantai since the reform and opening, pointing out that aggregated urbanization is the major pathway for advocating further development of the rural urbanization of Yantai. Therefore, relying on the urban districts, we need to concentrate on the development of counties and central towns, optimize the spatial structure of small towns, and emphasize the quality of the rural urbanization as well.
