Differences of Farmers' Income Growth and Evolution Characteristics across Counties in Wuling Mountain Area of Hunan Province: with Shift-Share Method
以湖南武陵山区37个县为样本，用偏离份额法分析2000-2011年农民收入增长的县域差异与演变特征，发现收入水平低于全国且差距扩大，工资和财产收入增长差异是主因。
Taking 37 counties in Hunan Wuling Mountain Area as samples, this paper has explored the differences of farmers' income growth and evolution characteristics across counties from 2000 to 2011 with the shift-share method. The results showed that, first, compared with the average level of the whole country, the farmers' income level in Hunan Wuling Mountain Area was lower and the gap was enlarging, but the income structure evolution trends were similar between them. Second, the income of farmers who came from the municipal districts, county-level cities or developed counties had increased quicker, in four kinds of growth type which included the all 37 counties, the rapid growth and the lagged growth counties less, and the structure advantage driven and competitive advantage driven counties more. Third,relative to 2000-2006, the farmers' income growth had accelerated during 2006 to 2011 in Hunan Wuling Mountain Area,and the differences and gaps of income level and income structure became more obvious, except rapid growth counties,the other three types of counties were inclined to gather together with the same type. Fourth, the differences of wage income and property income growth had contributed greatly to the differentiation of farmers' income growth among counties.
