COUNTERMEASURES OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT IN GUANGZHOU BASED ANALYSIS ON CHARACTERISTIC OF THE INHABITANT TRIP
基于1998年和1984年广州居民出行调查数据，分析出行强度、方式、时间与空间分布特征，提出发展公共交通、建设高速交通系统等对策。
The investigation of inhabitant trip is the base of urban transportation planning, urban construction and urban administration. On the base of the relevant data of investigation of myriad inhabitant trip in 1998 in Guangzhou and counterpart in 1984, the article analyzes a series of indicators of trip intensity, trip way, time distribution and space distribution in a trip. Sequentially, the writer concludes the rule, change characteristic and their reasons of the urban inhabitant trip in Guangzhou. In accordance with the present characteristics of Guangzhou's transportation such as the growth of inhabitant trip gross, the elongation of trip distance, the growth of trip time, the high proportion of personal transportation, the huge transportation volume of passing the river, and the distinct transportation peak value etc, such countermeasures should be advanced that develop the public transportation, work in a region near to the inhabit, construct the high-speed transportation system, formulate the travel demand management and build the no-handicap sidewalk system as well.
