CHINESE URBANIZATION RESEARCH SHOULD BE BASED ON NATIONAL CONDITIONS AND PROBLEM-ORIENTED: SOME REFLECTIONS TO STRENGTHEN OUR URBANIZATION RESEARCH
反思中国城镇化研究现状，指出许多研究缺乏学术性、仅为政策辩护，强调应基于国情、问题导向和以人为本，避免照搬西方模式。
With the national emphasis of urbanization,urbanization research is without precedent in history in China.Although the number of related publications is very large,but many of them are not academic,just to justify the relational national policy.The world urbanization history indicates that there is no universal model of urbanization.The development phase of urbanization has only relatively implication,and the general development pattern can not be used as a rote.Urbanization research should have sense of situation of a country or region,paying attention to the relationship between the general and the special,in case of being misled by Eurocentralism.Urbanization research should be problem-oriented and human-centered.To discuss urbanization development or to pay too much to the quantity of urbanization would mislead the Chinese urbanization practice.
