THE NEW REGIONALISM"AND THE REGIONAL COORDINATED DEVELOPMENT IN CHINA
总结了20世纪新区域主义运动的主要特征，并分析其对我国区域协调发展的启示，探讨如何实施区域协调发展。
This article generalizes the study of the new regionalism movement in 20th century, and points out that its main characteristics include of:(1)a focus on specific territories;(2)a response to various social problems of the metropolitan region;(3)a holistic perspective that integrates environmental, social equality and economic goals;(4)a emphasis on integrating the different size physicam planning and a more activist method of public participating planning. Then this article tries to analyze the enlightenments which the new regionalism movement brings to regional coordinated development in our country, and explores the implementation of regional coordinated development.
