Regional Economic Growth Analysis Based on Proportionality Shift-Share Model:A Case Study of Anhui Province
用比例偏离份额模型分析2001-2010年安徽地级市经济增长,区分了规模与结构贡献,发现仅合肥和芜湖同时具有竞争与结构优势,并动态追踪了各地市优势演变。
The proportionality shift-share model realizes the goal of shift-share analysis that separates the contribution of the regional economy scale and structural differences from the regional economic increment to economic growth. The new structure component simultaneously measures the scale structure and different growth rate structures of regional industries, revealing the distribution of industries whose scale and growth rates are dominant. The empirical results of economic growth in prefecture-level cities of Anhui Province from 2001 to 2010 based on the proportionality shift-share model are as follows: In view of the entire study period, only Hefei and Wuhu have competitive advantage and structural advantage simultaneously. The competitive advantage in Suzhou,Lu’an and Chizhou is obvious, but they lack structural advantage. The regions where competitive advantage is insufficient but have some structural advantage are Bozhou,Bengbu,Fuyang,Maanshan,Tongling,Chaohu and Huangshan. The rest,Huainan,Huaibei,Anqing,Chuzhou and Xuancheng lack both competitive advantage and structural advantage. With a chain relative dynamic algorithm, the dynamic evolution of regional economic growth competitive advantage and structural advantage is analyzed according to the changes of regional component and structural component. The main evolution trend of the competitive advantages and structural advantages of 17 prefecture-level cities are incorporated into 5 kinds of evolution types: regions where competition is enhanced and structure is optimized, regions where competition is enhanced and structure declines, regions where competition recedes and structure is optimized, regions where competition recedes and structure declines, and regions where structure is relatively stable.
