Summarization of studies on measuring of urbanization in China
综述了测量中国城市化水平的两种方法：单一指标法和复合指标法，重点分析了城市人口比例指标的问题及国内学者提出的解决方案，并讨论了其他单一指标和复合指标法的研究现状与局限。
There are usually two kinds of methods to measure the level of urbanization: primary indicator method and composite indicator method. Among the former method, the indicator of urban population rate is most commonly used. This article illuminates its main problems while briefly reviewing the several changes of urban population statistical caliber in China, synthetically discoursing upon the resolutions, which are advanced by inland scholars; then we discusses the research condition of other primary indicators and the composite indicator method, and analyzes their limitations.
