REVIEW ON SPATIAL STRUCTURE OF THE METROPOLIS AFFECTING ITS TRAFFIC
根据生产力发展水平和社会经济特征，将大都市分为单中心、多中心和网络三种类型，分析其对交通的不同影响，指出我国大都市正从单中心向多中心转型，以缓解生态和交通问题。
According to the development level of productivity and characteristics of their society and economy ,the metropolises can be classified into three types: the monocentered, the multicentered ,the network. Each has a different influence on its traffic. Now the metropolises in our country are transforming from the monocentered to multicentered. Because over-concentration of the central district in our metropolis is bringing about difficulties in its ecology and traffic, it is necessary to rapidly adjust spatial structure of the metropolis,to disperse over-concentration of the central district.To transform from the monocentered metropolis to multicentered may be a permanent solution to the deterioration of the ecology and the traffic congestion in the metropolis.
