Study on Spatial Distribution Feature of Urban Population of Hefei, China
利用1978、1991、2000和2004年的人口统计数据和土地利用图，分析合肥市人口增长的空间差异和分布变化，发现合肥仍为单核心城市，人口分布从均衡转向集中，2000年后出现扩散趋势，并初步呈现郊区化。
Using the statistical population data and the city land use map of Hefei, respectively in 1978, 1991, 2000 and 2004, we analyze the spatial distribution difference of population increasing and the spatial distribution change of population on the basis of spatial cell with street and community with help of ArcGIS 8.3. The result shows that Hefei is still a single core city up to now, and it is being in the stage from the early immature to mature. Its city population passed by the transformation stage from the balanced to the centralized increasing since 1978. However, the diffused increasing is emerging since 2000. Additionally, the spatial distribution shape is transforming gradually from the fan-shaped before 1978 to the concentric circle-shaped at present. And the tendency with population-suburbanized appears preliminarily.
