Water Environmental Carrying Capacity of Hunan Province and the Key Cities in the Dongting Lake Area
构建了包含资源、环境、经济和社会四要素的水环境承载力评价体系，用层次分析法和熵权法联合赋权及灰色物元分析，评估了湖南省及洞庭湖区8个重点城市2003-2010年的水环境承载力，发现整体提升不明显，多数城市未达预期。
Putting forward a WECC(Water Environmental Carrying Capacity) evaluation index system including four elements, that is, resources, environment, economy and society, and using the AHP and entropy method for joint empowerment as well as exploiting Gray matter element analysis, the paper respectively investigates the WECC of Hunan Province as well as of 8 key cities in the Dongting Lake Area during 2003-2010. The results reveal that the overall level of WECC in Hunan Province has not been efficiently improved in the past few years; moreover, except for Yiyang, the WECC of 7 key cities in the Dongting Lake Area is not as good as expected. Some corresponding policy recommendations are presented according to the results.
