SEVERAL COMMENTS ON THE ECOLOGICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REHABILITATION IN SOUTHWESTERN CHINA
指出中国西南地区生态环境脆弱，面临水土流失、植被稀疏、山地灾害和喀斯特石漠化等问题，提出以生态经济原则为指导、生物措施为主的小流域恢复方法。
The natural environment in Southwestern China is very different from that of northwestern China, Inner Mongolia and Tibet. The eco-environment is quite vulnerable and is confronted with serious soil erosion, low-density vegetation, high-frequency of mountain disasters and rocky-desert of Karst mountain areas. In the process of ecological environment rehabilitation, various kinds of steps should be taken, such as, under the guidance of eco-economical principals, biological steps are the main methods to use in the rehabilitation of ecological environment in the small drainage basin.
