THE SAME STRUCTURE PROBLEM OF MANUFACTURING IN YANGTZE RIVER DELTA:A RECONSIDERATION BASED ON FLYING-GEESE PATTERN THEORY
重新审视长三角制造业结构，发现2004年后结构再次趋同，并用雁行模式解释其从趋异到趋同的机制。
To verify the statement of the existing literature that the manufacturing structures have been diverging in the sub-zones of Yangtze River Delta,this paper revisits the same structure problem of manufacturing in the delta.The trends of the structural similar index and structure difference index of manufacturing for period 1997 to 2006 are analyzed,and the results show that the structures have been converging again since 2004.To explain the reason behind the above phenomenon,we resort to the so-called flying-geese pattern theory.By analyzing the upgrade order and spatial transformation of manufacturing among the three sub-zones,we argue that the development of manufacturing in Yangtze River Delta takes on the characteristics of flying geese pattern.And then we further explain the intrinsic mechanism which makes the manufacturing structures of sub-zones move from divergence to convergence and vice versa based on the flying-geese pattern theory.
