Research on the approach of harmonious urbanization in rural areas on urban fringe——A case of magang in Shunde district, Foshan
研究了快速城镇化中城乡边缘区如何通过土地资本化、集体经济改革和就业机会创造，实现经济增长、社会公平与环境保护的平衡，以佛山马岗为例。
Challenged by rapid urbanization, urban fringe has to face the restructuring of land, capital and labor. This paper proposes an approach toward harmonious urbanization, especially toward a balanced scenario among economic growth, social equity and environmental protection. It is suggested that a benefit-balancing mechanism can be created among local government, developers and villagers, in which land resource is capitalized to reform the management system of collective economy and job opportunities are provided in the process of urbanization. The case of Magang in Shunde District, Foshan is taken as an example.
