Spatial Distribution,Growth Process and Dominant Industries of Province-level Development Zones in China
基于1346个省级开发区数据，考察了其空间分布、增长过程及主导产业，发现数量差异取决于地方经济水平，增长波动受区域发展和中央政策影响，主导产业间关联弱且相似度高。
Using data about 1346 development zones authorized by the provincial government,this paper examines spatial distribution,growth process and dominant industries of province-level development zones and their differences among regions.We find that the difference of numbers among provinces largely depends on the level of local economic development;the growth process of province-level development zones is imbued with fluctuation,and the extent of increase among east,middle and west regions over different periods both depends on the level of regional economic development and micro policy of the central government;within one development zone dominant industries are quite irrelevant,and among development zones there are high similarity and concentration degree on dominant industries.
