AN RESEARCH ON POPULATION URBANIZATION DEVELOPMENT IN MEIZHOU CITY IN VIEW OF THE LABOUR TRANSFER
从劳动力转移角度分析梅州市1978年以来人口城镇化的四个阶段，指出本地与外来人口城镇化并存、外来人口城镇化活跃的特征，以及其对城镇化发展的促进与制约作用。
The paper analyzes the population urbanization development in Meizhou City from the angle of labour transfer.Since 1978,it has experienced four stages.The coexistence of surplus labour transfer and non-surplus labour transfer,and labour migrant are the basic characteristic of Meizhou.The coexistence of local and migrant population urbanization,and the migrant population urbanization vibrancy are the marked feature.The migrant population urbanization promote the coordinated development of the population urbanization and labour non-agriculture in Meizhou City,but at the same time,it restricts the population urbanization development.In order to promote the population urbanization development,it should take the following actions: improve labour transfer ability,strengthen the labour absorbing ability and improve the quality level of population urbanization.
