STUDY ON THE EVOLUTION OF RESIDENTS REACHABLE SPATIAL BASED ON REGULAR BUS TRANSIT IN GUANGZHOU CITY
利用ArcGIS分析广州1962-2008年常规公交线路数据，通过覆盖率、核密度等指标揭示居民可达空间演变的四个阶段，发现覆盖面积增加但覆盖率下降，公交出行便利性仍较低。
This paper is to research the evolution of residents reachable spatial based on RBT in Guangzhou city,by using ArcGIS software,extracting RBT routes information in 1962、1974、1982、1991、2000 and 2008,gaining 5m×5m grids and adopting the four indicators of coverage rate,kernel density,population gravity center and global spatial autocorrelation.And then based on the above results to analyze the changes of convenience for residents trips.The results revealed that:①RBT routes and the demand for bus trips are increasing year by year.The coverage area is increasing,but coverage rate overall declining.②The residents' reachable spatial by RBT evolved four stages:the old city concentration,periphery extension,network perfection and radiation expanding.③The disparities of reachable spatial by RBTtripdeclined,butequity enhanced.Inpresentthe convenience of commuters' by RBT is low.The lightercombination and optimized distribution of RBT,bus rapid transit and rail transit are the keys to the healthy development of public transport.
