Abstract

According to Porter's industrial cluster upgrade theory,the statistic analysis based on the characteristics of the six private enterprise industrial clusters in Jinjiang city shows that,the provisions,china,stone,toy and the sport shoes,textile and clothing industrial cluster still lie in the factor-drive stage and investment-drive stage respectively.For lack of the pulling and leading of world-famous-brand enterprises,the main function of the six industrial clusters can only deal with low-value-added manufacture.However,by carrying out industrial cluster upgrade strategy which focuses on building world-famous-brand,industrial clusters will be pushed into brand and innovation-drive stage,enter the high-value-added knot of the value chain of world labor division,and become global leading industrial cluster in the end.
