Ocean resources are not only the material base of ocean economy,but also the security of healthy and steady development of the national economy.According to the characteristics of ocean resources,they were classified into: space resources,mineral resources,biodiversity resources and ecological resources. The economic features of ocean resources were studied,the problems in the exploitation of China's ocean resources were analyzed and the trends in the exploitation of ocean resources in the world were prospected.
