The Interaction Relationship Between Tourism Industry and Residents' Income:A Case of Zhangjiajie City,China
研究张家界市旅游业发展与居民收入的互动关系，发现旅游业对城镇居民收入有显著正向影响，但对农村居民收入影响不显著，而居民收入增长对旅游收入无显著影响。
Interaction relationship between tourism industry development and residents' income is important for analyzing economic impact of tourism and driven power of regional tourism industry development, which is also necessary for making policies. This paper analyzes relationship and affecting factors between tourism industry development and residents' income in Zhangjiajie city, China,using econometrics methods of co- integration test and Granger test. In overall, the impact of tourism development on residents' income differentiates from urban and rural residents. It has a significant impact on urban residents' income. If tourism income increases by one percent, per capita disposable income of urban residents will increase by 0.319 percent. However,it does not have a significant impact on rural residents' income. The affecting factors are income structure, distribution of tourism income, spatial structure of tourism destination. On the other hand, increase in income both urban and rural residents in Zhangjiajie city does not have a significant effect on tourism income, mainly as a result of level of residents' income level, regulation, and tourists' motive of pursuing different environment.
