Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu province and the tourism center in the upper reaches of Yellow river, doesn't make itstourism development synchronize with its distinctive position. One of the reasons is that the tourism image is not pleasant. Forthis purpose, this article summerizes the relative theories of design of tourism image, and makes a systematical design abouttourism image of Lanzhou from 3 perspectives: mind, visual and behavioral images on the basis of the detailed analysis of tourismresources in Lanzhou.
