Provincial Overtaking Strategy and Development Guidelines of Late-Developing Areas in China’s Eastern Coastal Regions
研究了2000-2009年中国东部沿海省份人均GDP差异缩小及区域收敛趋势，分析了宏观政策、交通和产业扩散对欠发达地区赶超战略的影响，并提出了未来发展的空间政策指南。
The Coefficient of Variance,measured By GDP and GDP per capita between 2000 to 2009,shows that regional differences have been reduced to some extent in eastern coastal provinces of China,and since 2005,regional development presented a convergence trend at provincial level.Under effect of Macro governmental policy,new important regional transportation and spatial industry diffusion,coastal late-developing areas have formed a new development model that could be dubbed as the catching-up strategy within provincial area,which was directly shaped by interaction of various policy intents at different government levels.The paper suggests some macro-spatial policy guidelines for future growth of these late-developing areas.
