METROPOLITAN PLANNING AND COORDINATED REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT——AN EMPIRICAL STUDY OF YANGZHOU
分析中国大都市区发展趋势，总结长三角地区大都市区演变，并以扬州为例介绍大都市区建设实践，为建立促进区域协调发展的制度框架提供策略。
China is currently in a period of accelerated development of regional integration,coordinated regional development has been paid close attention by all levels of government and academic circles,and a wide range of exploration has been carried out.It provides a viable strategy for the establishment of a permanent institutional framework by constructing metropolitan areas to promote coordinated regional development.Based on the analysis of the overall development trend of China's metropolitan areas,the article summarize the current evolution of metropolitan areas in the Yangtze River Delta region,and introduce the practice of certain cites in the building of metropolitan areas,with a focus on Yangzhou.
