EVALUATION OF SUSTAINABILITY OF THE REGIONAL ECOLOGICAL ECONOMICS DEVELOPMENT BASED ON THE ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT MODEL
介绍了生态足迹模型的原理和计算方法，并以甘肃省2002年为例计算了生态赤字，表明人类活动已超出区域生态承载力，人地关系紧张。
The ecological footprint model evaluates the effect of human activities on the global ecological system by quantifying the biological productive land area necessary to maintain human survival and development. This paper is to introduce the background and the latest research advance of the EF and clarify systematically its principle framework,basic conception and computation method. Taking Gansu province as an example,the article calculates and analyzes the EF of Gansu province in 2002.The results reveal that the deficit is 0.2883hm~2/cap,which means the EF's demand in terms of human activities has already exceeded the benchmark of regional ecological system's carrying capacity,and show that the man-land relationship is very intense. Then the model and its application trends to the full is evaluated objectively.
