The Urban-Rural Culture's Spatial Integration and Optimizing Countermeasures in Wuhan City Circle

Cultural integration, one of the most important fields in Cultural Geography, has become a highlight in both academic and political circles. This paper which is to use the SPSS statistics and GIS network analysis to explore the county, city, and ring level's spatial distributions of urban-rural cultural systematic integration from the micro, meso, and macro level, centered on the definition of the urban-rural cultural integration and spatial degree of urban-rural cultural integration under the influence of multiple elements in the transitional era and based on the amended gravity model including urban-rural cultural perception group, urban-rural cultural information flow and the urban-rural cultural shortest communications path to measure the degree of urban-rural cultural integration, is to explore the law and social problem of spatial disparity in urban- rural culture systematic integration. The paper demonstrates the urban- rural culture's spatial structure of Wuhan city circle which overall shows as regional city centers with increasing distance and decreasing along the main trunks and that it will optimize the systematic structure of the urban-rural cultural integration and promote the development of the urban-rural cultural system in a scientific way through preventing the emergences of the cottage type's urban culture and the dogs' rural culture in the quickly process of urban-rural cultural integration, constructing regional cultural service circles, perfecting public cultural service and system reform, and constructing urban- rural cultural associated system.
