Logistics is become the focus of the cargo-owners with the multinational wave of the business enterprise operation since 1980s.As the most important node of the logistics system, the key to the modern port development is to develop a validating location cooperation between port and the other nodes, and to increase the comprehensive ability of the whole logistics system. This paper analyses the location characteristics and functions of the modern port, and the interaction and interdependent relationship between ports and the other nodes. Furthermore, to cope with the cooperation mechanism between ports and the other nodes of the logistics system, a cooperation game model is built up.
