THE ECO-SECURITY OF YANGTZE RIVER BASIN AND ITS COUNTERMEASURE
分析了长江流域生态安全面临的污染、水土流失和自然灾害等挑战，提出加强统一管理、完善立法、推进西部开发和建立绿色GDP制度等对策。
The eco-security of the Yangtze River Basin has important strategic meaning to the sustainable development of China. But it faces with challenges coming from such as water pollution, water and soil losses and frequent natural disasters. Owing to the situation that the upper basin of Yangtze River is the more serious disaster area and the main pollution source and three-gorge project will make it more urgent to comprehensively control the eco-environment of the upper basin, we should focus on the comprehensive control of the upper basin and increase the investment in this area. This paper puts forward several policy advice including strengthening unitive management of the Yangtze River Basin, perfecting legislation,advancing western development and establishing system of green GDP.
