The Tourism Competitiveness of Cities Along the Taihu Lake and Regional Tourism cooperation
选取28个指标，用因子分析法评价苏州、无锡、常州、湖州四市旅游竞争力，再用SWOT分析太湖区域旅游合作，发现苏州最强，建议四市加强合作、发挥政府作用、保护环境、创新产品、联合开拓市场。
Suzhou,Wuxi,Changzhou and Huzhou along the Taihu Lake are all rich in tourism resources and has developed high level of tourism economy,but the regional tourism development is imbalanced.This paper first chooses 28 indexes from tourism performance,tourism resources and tourism supporting and uses factor analysis method to evaluate tourism itemized competitiveness and tourism comprehensive competitiveness of 4 cities along Taihu Lake.The result shows that Suzhou's comprehensive competitiveness is the strongest,Wuxi ranks second,Changzhou ranks third and Huzhou is the minimal.Then,regional tourism cooperation along the Taihu Lake is analyzed using SWOT analysis.The result shows that Taihu regional tourism cooperation has advantages in tourism resources,industrial basis,economic strength,location and transportation and should take the growth strategy,utilizing exuberant demand of domestic and foreign tourism market,integration development trend of Yangtze River Delta and opportunities of governments' support.In the future,4 cities along Taihu Lake should enhance cooperation in the competition,play the guiding role of government,reinforce environmental protection,accelerate the development and innovation of tourism products,strengthen tourism brand image of Taihu Lake and jointly develop domestic and foreign tourism market.
