An Empirical Analysis on the Change of Provincial Residents Consumption——Based on Panel Data Varying-conefficient Model
基于1997-2009年各省居民消费数据，用面板数据变系数模型分析区域消费变化，发现东西部消费高于中部，发达和欠发达地区边际消费倾向高于中等发展地区。
Based on the panel data varying-coefficient model,using the 1997-2009 residents’consumption data in each province,the author conducts the empirical analysis on the change and trend of regional residents’consumption.The results indicates that the residents’consumption is higher in the eastern and western region than in the central region,and the developed and underdeveloped areas are with higher MPC than secondary developed regions where the consumption level and economic growth speed remains basically consistent.At last,this paper puts forward several corresponding policies and suggestions from the aspects of the size and distribution of populations,the proportion of population in urban and rural areas GDP and spending habits.
