AN ALLOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF THE HOHEHOT URBAN SYSTEM: USING THE INDUSTRIAL AND AGRICULTURAL OUTPUT DATA
用分形和系统科学思想，分析1980-2000年呼和浩特城市系统的异速生长关系，发现工业产值符合分维异速关系，农业产值则退化，为城市规划提供参考。
This study examines the relationship among cities of the Hohehot urban system by means of fractal idea and the theory of system science. It is a study of allometric growth in urban system. The allometric course of Hohehot urban sysytem from 1980 to 2000 is analyzed by the use of gross value of industrial output and agricultural output, and it is found that:①the Hohehot urban system meets allometric relationship on fractional dimension in the aspect of industrial output;②the fractal allometric relationship degenerates in the aspect of agricultural output. In this study, the author analyses the different development among the cities of the Hohehot urban system: their developmental base and potence. In theory, this study provides a complete example for the multiple-variable analysis of allometric urban system; in practice, it is useful for the Hohehot city planning.
